Party Pictures, Part 2

In case you are reading this post first, these pictures are continued from the post below.... Pictures from Cason's Birthday Party:

The Superman cake... I had to post a good picture of it!

Coby and Baby Griffin. He was beggin to hold him again, but he was all wet and cold... so we compromised with a picture... and we threatened him with his life if he got too close, dripped on him and woke him up!

Buddies Bryson and Brinton hangin out in their strollers!

Happy Boy in his baby boat!

Our youngest party member!! Baby Griffin at 5 days old! Sweet thang!

Mr. Brinton is a cutie!

Mimi and Sam hangin out!

Cason's Birthday Bash!

We had a great 3rd birthday partry for Cason... we thought it might be rained out, but the rain actually held off and the clouds made it much more bearable for those on the side watching! The kiddos all had a great time swimming and playing, and eating pizza and cake! This is sucha fun age for birthdays! Cason was just so excited about everything, and all his little friends were so proud of their presents they had picked out!

Once again, blogger has told me that I have too many pictures, so the rest will be on the next post, but here goes for now, for your viewing pleasure......

Coby has now gotten up the nerve to "swim" out into the water without holding onto the side even when his feet donot touch!! This is a huge step for him!

Bryson and the Birthday Boy!

Connor and Micah are little fish!

Present time!!!

Bryson hanging out with daddy... and lovin it!

Cason and Quentin are buddies forever.... but hugs sure are hard to give with life jackets on!

I made him this superman cake that he was sooo excited about!!

Happy Birthday to you, Cason!

The "Buzz" on Coby!

I had never been able to bring myself to buzz off Coby's curls, but I was noticing that his curls were really no longer curls, but instead they had become funky waves.... so we went for it and gave him a buzz like Caosn and Micah... We decided that he is cute with out his curls, too!

Sweet New Baby!

We met our sweet new friend, Griffin James last night, and the boys were soooo excited! We were going to have my mom watch them for us to go to the hospital, but when we called Katie and Nathan, they told us that we better bring all 4 of the boys to come see them. They insisted. So we gave the boys a long talk about how to behave in a hospital room and loaded up some snacks and went. They were so good! They whispered thru the hallways... and when we got in the room, they all watched him and were quiet and patient while they waited for their turn to hold him. He is just precious!! And mom and dad looked great, too! Congratulations, Katie and Nathan! We are so excited for you! May God bless you as you embark on the most incredible journey of parenthood!

Welcome, Baby Griffin!

And Happy Anniversary to the new Mommy and Daddy! Our dear friends, Katie and Nathan had their baby today, July 17 at 2:21 pm. His name is Griffin James. So cute!!! He did just as he was supposed to and came right on his due date and he was a great anniversary present for them. We love you guys, and we cant wait to snuggle and play with little Griffin! These Best boys have so much to teach him!

Happy Birthday, Sweet Cason!!

It is just so hard to believe that 3 years ago, we were welcoming our 3rd little boy into this world! They always say that time just flies... but it really does! My nick name for Cason since he was a baby has always been "Littles" But just the other day, I called him "Littles" and he looked at me and said, "Mommy, I am not littles, I am bigs now!" It kinda brought a tear to my eye, but he is kinda "Bigs" now!

He had such a fun day today! Since we are waiting til Saturday to do his party, I wanted to make today a special day for him. We went to the Toy Store and met up with Daddy to shop and play, To Chic-Fil-A for lunch with Mimi and Paw Paw and for "birthday ice cream" to the swimming pool with Mimi, and then to Gattiland with Devan, Kaylee and Brinton for dinner... then back home for some presents that Micah and Coby had picked out for him... what a fun time!

Here is Cason today at Gattiland blowing out his candles on his Cinnamon stick. Before anyone thinks it is horrible that the candles are in a cinnamon stick instead of a cake... let me tell you that his actual party is Saturday, and he will have a cake and he will "happy birthday" sung to him for the about the 5th time this week!

Here are some things I love about Cason:
**Cuddle Bug!!! I love that he loves to give me hugs and kisses. And that he always wants to sit in my "wap" to "shnuggle"
**I love the way he looks up to his big brothers, always trying to do everything they do!
**I love the way he sucks his first 2 fingers when he sleeps. I try to get him to try the others, but he tells me, "No, Mommy... those aren't yummy!"
**His imagination. Sometimes I wonder if he really thinks he IS superman. He loves to put on costumes and pretend to be a superhero!
**I love the way he loves Little Bryson. He just cannot get enough hugs and kisses from his little brother!
**I love the way he lays down flat on the floor to drive his cars or trains. He is always so into whatever he is playing!
**I love his sweet voice. Whether he is talking or singing, he has the sweetest sounding voice I have ever heard.
**What a smile! He keeps us smiling, too! And his giggle is absolutely contagious!
WE LOVE YOU, CASON! Happy 3rd Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to my Daddy!

Happy 52nd birthday, Daddy! Thanks for all you have taught me and all that you've done and continue to do for me and my family. I am so thankful to be blessed with such a wonderful dad. I am grateful to have you as a "pawpaw" and a role model to my children, and I am thankful to have you as a confidant, a firiend, and an example to Clint. Clint said today, "I don't think I have ever met someone who could make me laugh so hard, cry so easily, and think on such a deep level!" We all love you and admire you so much!

PawPaw and tiny little Bryson!

Here is PawPaw teaching Micah how to fish at our family retreat... I love this picture!

Newsflash.....

Newsflash to all of my fellow mommy-friends: Babies can get sunburned from the reflection off of the pool! That is news to me! I am on baby # 4, and I don't know how I missed that little tidbit of information! It is so hard to put sunscreen on little Bryson's face without getting it in his eyes, so I bought this great new little UV protectant hat to keep the sun off his face (and off his fuzzy little head , too) The hat did indeed keep the sun off his face and head, but I just did not know that the sun reflecting from the pool was just as harmful to his sensitive baby skin! So he was just a bit sinkist last night! But as you can see... he does not seem to be bothered by it at all!

Can't help myself!

Ok, you know it is bad when Blogger tells you that you have officially run out of room on your post for more pictures... in other words, "you are a photo-happy mommy who takes way too many pictures and you need not post any more!!!" But I just cant help it... here are a few more:

You cant really see it here, but this is a cool picture of the boys watching the fireworks and you can actually see one of the fireworks in the background... cool!

Hanging out on the blanket with daddy watching the fireworks.
Happy Baby! Like his momma... he loves the telephone!

Here are the boys with Daddy at the state line from Texas to New Mexico. It was Bryson's first time out of state!

Home, Sweet Home!

5 days, 4 nights, 4 different houses, 1020 miles, 4 kids (plus clint), lots of great home-cookin', 7 great-grandparents, a really full suburban, lots of hugs and kisses, a tv to watch on the road (thank goodness!), and a theme park on the way back.... and we are HOME! We had a great trip to west Texas and New Mexico, but it definitely feels so good to be back home!
We left Monday morning and headed to Noodle, TX to see Mamaw and Papaw. The boys rode on the tractors and had a great time. Tuesday, we headed to Jal, New Mexico to see my grandparents. We spent the 4th with PopPop and KayKay and watched a really great fireworks show! We were all quite impressed with how great the show was for such a small little town! The boys had a ball. We spent the next night with Nana and Dandy. The boys had lots of candy and went to feed the ducks at the park close by. Then we headed to Coahoma, TX to see Gran Gran. She took them to a fun park, too! It is pretty incredible that our kids have 7 great-grandparents still living and doing quite well! Clint and I are so thankful for our grandparents... for all they have done and continue to do for us and for our children... and for the heritage and the faith they have given us to carry on and pass to our children. It is so rewarding to see the joy on their faces as they get to spend time with our kids. And it is fun to see our kids interact with them and get to be "spoiled" even if it is just for a few short days! For a few days, they are the center of all the attention! It is good for them to be spoiled every now and then!
The boys slept in a different bed every night and they all did so great! We have decided that Bryson gets the "Baby of the Year" award for being the most flexible, sweetest baby ever! He slept where ever he could catch a nap, and he hardly ever fussed for anything. Everyone just raved on and on about him! He was awesome! We drove down to San Antonio and went to Fiesta Texas on the way home. It was a great ending to a fun trip. We got home last night at about midnight. And now for a weekend of lots of laundry, lots of sleeping, and lots of unpacking... back to reality... but it sure is good to be back at home, sweet home!

And of coarse, here are some pictures from our venture:

Here is a picture of the boys on the tractor with Clint and Mamaw and Papaw.

We spent the 4th of July with PopPop and KayKay.
Here are the boys hanging out with Nana and Dandy.
We had a great time at the park with Gran Gran!
Coby and Micah on the carousel.

Cason on the "roaring tiger" as he called it!
Sweet Bryson catching a nap where ever he can get one!
The boys are trying to "catch" the waterfall... it was really just the wind blowing the mist our way as we passed by!
What a day!

Cousin Time!!

What a fun weekend! Josh and Heather have been here from Oklahoma and my parents' house suddenly seems much smaller! We have had a fun time with all 10 grandkids playing together and all 4 of us kids with our spouses (or soon-to-be spouses), plus mom and dad.... 20 people all together! Good times! Here are some pics:

"Baby-Batman" aka - Darin
Bat-Coby
Is that Batman? Or is it just our crazy Uncle Casey?
Dustin and Micah have had a great time playing "boy stuff" together this weekend!
Cason & Quentin - best buds!
Happy Babies!!!

Kissin' Cousins:
Darin and Bryson... they are about 6 weeks apart!
