Bryson's big catch!!

We went on our family retreat with our church this past weekend (more pics to come)... and Bryson caught his first fish! He was so funny about it. He asked if we could put it in our tank! :o) He didnt want to touch it (or for it to touch him) but he was excited to see it and watch daddy throw it back in...

What fun! We are already counting down the days til next year!!

Childrens Ark Open House

This past week was our Childrens ark open house where my preschool class performs for their parents. This year we were puppy dogs and they were so so cute!! I was directing the kiddos as they were singing so I left daddy in charge of the camera... arrgghh!! (ok, but in his defense, he had the other 3 boys and was trying to keep them still and quiet!) I will have to get pics from another mom who took them from the front! Cason is on the middle row, closest to the camera...

The evening was crazy, crazy, but somehow we got the opportunity to take a quick family pic... it wasnt planned, it just happened... thanks, Ms Jolene!

A trip down memory lane....

As I was uploading my bluebonnet pictures this year, I was thinking about how much easier our photo sessions are these days! These sweet boys are growing up right before my eyes!!

We wnet to visit GiGi & G-dad and Gran Gran in Jacksboro, so our weekend was filled with fun, food, and family... it was great! Hope you were surrounded by those you love as we celebrated the Resurrection of our Savior!

And what is a family photo session with out a "silly-pose?" :o) I promised my mom I would not make the cross-eyed look anymore because she said it "was just so unbecoming" (Notice, mom, I changed our header picture?!) How is this for "unbecoming?? Who knew that booger pickin was the new "silly?"

Happy Birthday, COBY!!

How on earth is my Coby 7 years old today?? Time flies! Coby brings such a special life to our family. He is my firecracker! He is the ham that keeps us laughing and the love that keeps us hugging. I sure love my Coby! I can hardly remember what life was like with out him!

Since his Birthday fell on a Sunday, we took him to get doughnuts for breakfast before church. Then he chose Diary Queen for lunch, and we headed home for some rest time for Bry. His party was at 3:oo at the bowling alley, and needless to say, he and his friends and family had a BLAST! We headed straight from there to our home group for church, so it was a busy, busy day, but lots of fun!

Love you, Sweet Cobe! Happy Birthday!!

M.A.D.S.

Mommas Against Daylight Savings.... Anyone else wanna join the group???

It has thrown everyone for a loop around here.... the boys' sleeping late on Sunday was nice, but this 'going to bed while it is still day light' is weird... and everyone is tired and grouchy (but not too tired to lay in bed and giggle with the brother on the top bunk because it is so bright in the room...)

Tomorrow is Jog-A-Fun at school, and the boys are so excited... momma is saying a prayer that my Coby does better this year... last year I distinctly remember being reprimanded by a "race official" for carrying him around the track when he was having a hard time on his own! He says he is ready, so we will see. Micah's goal is 22 laps, and Coby's goal is to beat Micah... hmmm.... friendly competition? I suppose.... whatever gets that strong-willed child of mine around the track I guess!!

For now, I will close with a few recent pics of my cuties for the grandmas.... wish us luck tomorrow!

Micah's new "thing" is football... he takes this ball everywhere he goes...

Sweet Coby working on some art....

Cason on "Silly day" at school (for the letter "S")

Bryson catchin bugs... his favorites (and the only ones he will touch) are RoliePolies.

Upwards Basketball

It has been loads of funs, but I am secretly glad it is over! Clint coached the boys on an Upward Basketball team this year, and it was so much fun to watch them play... Upward is a great league if anyone is looking for somewhere for their kiddos to play basketball. Clint really enjoyed being in that coaching role, too. It was fun to see the both of them on the same team and watch them cheer for eachother. These pics were taken at 2 different games, so the jersies are different colors, but you get the idea....

Here is Micah's 1st time on the freethrow line...
SWISH....

Proud daddy... cute boys!

The hoghlight of the season was when Samantha came to watch them play! They were so excited to have an extra fan in the stands!

Coby taking a shot!
If you will notice inthis pic, Clint is in the background pointing.... why?? Well, Coby got the ball and he was right there by the goal... momma, who was busy fiddling with the camera and juggling bry on one side and cason on the other... looked up to see him with the ball, and shouted at the top of her lungs, "SHOOT IT COBE!" He shoots... He SCORES... she cheers!! She is way proud that she got it on film! Whoo hoo, super mom! And then she takes her seat when she realizes that everyone ('coach' daddy included) is yelling, "other way... that's the wrong goal!" OOPS! Sorry bout that one, Coby! Great shot bud!
I cant even begin to imagine the chaos when the boys are on 3 different teams... Cason on the kindergarten league, Coby on the 1st-2nd league, and Micah on the 3rd-4th. CRAZINESS!

Camping-revisited

A while back I posted our family pictures from our camping trip... well here are a few more pics from the fun weekend....
Daddy's got more help than a man could ask for... even Jingles is in on the fun! The tent is "his thing" so I just continued to unload the food and get everything set up while he pitched the tent with the boys... it took some serious patience, but I am pretty sure everyone had a "job" to "help" with!

Sweet Micah LOVES everything about camping and he likes to be right in the middle of it all... from pitching the tent to starting the fires and sleeping on the ground in a warm sleeping bag... he loves it all!

Coby is not as big of a fan of all the "outdoorsy" stuff, but he was a good helper, too! He told me his favorite part was snuggling in mommy and daddy's sleeping bags in the morning when it was cold!

Cason did a good job taking good care of Jingles on his first camping trip with his new family. He rarely barks at home, but he barked at everyone (and everything) that passed by... it was annoying... he is so tiny but he would get so worked up... we nicknamed him "Killer" :o)

Bryson is "HELPING..." cant you tell??

I changed this pic to sepia color because everything was so dry and dead looking... kinda sad! That helped us to be thankful for the rain even though it hit while we were trying to load up to go home... has anyone ever tried to put a tent away in the RAIN?! We actually kinda wadded it up and pitched it again in the front yard we got home to dry it out. Yes, our neighbors love us.

Here is the Rock-Throwing CREW. You can see the evidence of the drought by how low the lake was... There were trees sticking up everywhere!

Coby was so proud of this fish skeleton that he found... mommy got the heebie jeebies when she found it in her washer the next day...

The traditional "family pic"
